Backyard Makeover!

Dan put some serious hard work and time into making our backyard look awesome. I feel so lucky to have a man that knows what he is doing and who works so hard. I guess he didn't do it all himself... Bryn was super helpful too :)

I forgot to take a picture before the work got started. There wasn't anything in the backyard but a bunch of dead grass. Dan completely transformed the place! He did it ALL himself.

LOVE having an inground trampoline! So nice to not have to worry about the kids when they play outside.

So fun to have it all done for the summer. Its been awesome to have smores and dutch oven under the pergola.

Highlights

Since I am so behind on the blog, I thought I would just post some of my favorite pictures of the past few months.

This picture cracks me up! I kept calling Bryn's name and couldn't find her. Guess I should have checked her favorite little hideout.

Bryn Lee found last years swim suit and some rain boots... I love watching her style sense. She begs to wear a dress everyday. She is all girl!

I never thought I'd end up with a blue eyed child, but Mayzie is holding on to them so far! She is such a darling little girl.

Bryn found a more efficient way to quench her thirst. She is always keeping us laughing.

I don't know what I would do without these little angels. They keep me on my toes and help me appreciate the little things in life.

Mayzie's blessing

I have a whole lot of catching up to do. I can't let all of these little moments just past by. Especially as one as special as this...

Mayzie is seriously such a joy in our lives. She can put each of us in a good mood instantly. There has never been such a happy baby. We feel so blessed to have Mayzie girl in our lives.

Mayzie was blessed on March 20th by her dad. Dan did such a great job on her sweet blessing. She is going to be one special girl.

Terrible Two's!

Bryn Lee sure knows how to test me! Its kind of hard to put this cute little face in time out, but sometimes you've got to do it.
But then she pulls out this adorable smile- who wouldn't give in to that?!

Sink Bath

Gotta love a sweet little baby taking a bath in the sink! Seriously, what could be cuter?!

How about a 2 and a half year old? Still cute, just not quite as comfortable looking... So funny how she wants to do all of the baby stuff again.

This cute girl...

This cute girl rolled over! (She just turned 3 months old 3 days before.)
And her big sister couldn't have been more proud of her!

It was so cute, she kept telling her, "You rock dude". Bryn is so in love with her little sis.

Way to go Mayzie- now please stop growing up so fast...

Easter Egg hunt

Easter was pretty low key this year. We made sure to hit all of the Easter Egg hunts we could find. Bryn LOVES playing with the eggs. We spent a lot of time doing our own Easter egg hunts over and over in the family room.
Surprisingly not afraid of the Easter Bunny this year.

It was so funny to watch Bryn gather the eggs. She wanted to hold them all in her hands instead of sticking them in her bucket. So we pretty much got skunked- not even enough candy for me to steal some from her basket.
