My new best friend

I love my little best friend. She is always there to talk to when I am having a bad day... She's seriously the best listener ever... She lets me pick the movie every time we go out together... She's not embarrassed about how terrible I may look... She never gets sick of hanging out with me... She forgives me so quickly when I make her mad. I am going to be so sad when she grows up, gets sick of me, and realizes that I am just not that cool. Well, I will be sure to take in all the moments I can now!




Bryn's first time in her new Bumbo! I'm not quite sure how to download video yet, but right after we took this picture she sure did break in the chair. We caught on video about a 30 second explosion!

Good thing we moved to Idaho....

Dan and his friend Rich won 2nd Place in the annual GSPHA coyote hunt. It was a two day hunt and there were 25 teams. They also won $180 for shooting the smallest coyote. I confiscated the earnings so at least now I get something good out of his hunting habit!

One month old!

BrynLee turned one month old this past week. I can't believe how fast time has gone by (even being sleep deprived :) She has brought such a special spirit to our home. I don't know how we lived without this little babe. She is already growing out of her clothes- I love watching those little rolls grow! She is getting really good at lifting her head and checking the world out around her. BrynLee got her first haircut at 2 weeks (I know... I'm a hairdresser, I couldn't help it). This week she discovered her tongue and how to suck on her little hand to sooth herself. I've loved every moment with this precious one.

This is the closest to a smile that I have caught on camera. She has the most adorable smile, I just never have the camera handy!

Here are her first pair of jeans (thanks aunt Krissy). Everyone that knows me knows that I HATED jeans growing up. I told my mom I would never ever own a pair of jeans and would wear stretch pants my whole life. Luckily I lied! I hope I am not traumatizing her cause I'm pretty sure stretch pants won't be in style- well lets hope.

We miss our visitors!

We have such amazing families and we were blessed to spend time with some of them since BrynLee was born. It is harder than I thought it would be to be away from everyone! We can't wait for BrynLee to meet the rest of our family and friends. Hope to see you all again soon!!! Uncle Derek

How is it that my mom can: fly into town, stay up all night with the baby, wake up and cook about 100 freezer meals and still look beautiful?!? You are my hero mom. I hope I'm half of the mother that you have been to me. Love you Mama Lee!
