Family trip to California!

I am so very behind on updating this blog, so I thought I would just throw up A TON of pictures of the trip to do a quick catch up.




Thanks to this cool kid, we got to take an awesome trip to California with my family. Kimball got home from serving a mission in Argentina and my parents were kind enough to get a beach house in Newport for a week so we could all spend time together. We had a BLAST. It is so great to have Kimball home! We are so proud of him.

Kimball was shocked at how much these two grew up and changed. It makes me realize how fast times goes by :(

Disneyland!

Disneyland was a dream come true! It was so fun to watch the little girls and their reactions to all of the rides and characters. I love that place.
Next time your in Disneyland make sure to get your face painted. They do a lovely job as Kimball and Tanner can attest to.

Minnie better watch her back :) She was a little too into Dan. How can I blame her- he's quite the catch.

Pretty sure I won't be able to talk Bryn into going on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride again, or Mr. Toads Wild ride, or The Haunted Mansion, or Snow Whites ride... Am I the meanest mom or what? What was I thinking taking her on those rides? I don't remember them being so scary when I was little. Sorry Bryn... Here is a little peak of the terror I put her through.

My camera died half way through Disneyland which I was pretty bummed about. Luckily my sister and Mom still had theirs handy. I'm sure anyone who looks at this blog is kind of relieved that I don't have any more pictures :) Anyway, Disneyland was a complete success. Even with the swarms of people, I would go again in a heartbeat.

We were so lucky to be able to spend some time with our friends the Weddles while we were in town. We wish Brooklyn lived closer so we could play more!!!

My mom is seriously one of the most talented people I know. She made these adorable dresses for the girls to wear.

Hanging out on the pier. I didn't get any pictures of us hang glidding, but that was definitely my highlight of the trip. There were dolphins everywhere! It was SO amazing. Unforgettable.

Saying goodbye to the beach. We were so sad to leave California. Definitely one of my favorite vacations. Thanks to my parents for everything! Bryn has already asked if she can go to the Beach for her birthday. If only! She is a girl after my own heart.

Backyard Makeover!

Dan put some serious hard work and time into making our backyard look awesome. I feel so lucky to have a man that knows what he is doing and who works so hard. I guess he didn't do it all himself... Bryn was super helpful too :)

I forgot to take a picture before the work got started. There wasn't anything in the backyard but a bunch of dead grass. Dan completely transformed the place! He did it ALL himself.

LOVE having an inground trampoline! So nice to not have to worry about the kids when they play outside.

So fun to have it all done for the summer. Its been awesome to have smores and dutch oven under the pergola.

Highlights

Since I am so behind on the blog, I thought I would just post some of my favorite pictures of the past few months.

This picture cracks me up! I kept calling Bryn's name and couldn't find her. Guess I should have checked her favorite little hideout.

Bryn Lee found last years swim suit and some rain boots... I love watching her style sense. She begs to wear a dress everyday. She is all girl!

I never thought I'd end up with a blue eyed child, but Mayzie is holding on to them so far! She is such a darling little girl.

Bryn found a more efficient way to quench her thirst. She is always keeping us laughing.

I don't know what I would do without these little angels. They keep me on my toes and help me appreciate the little things in life.

I have a whole lot of catching up to do. I can't let all of these little moments just past by. Especially as one as special as this...

Mayzie is seriously such a joy in our lives. She can put each of us in a good mood instantly. There has never been such a happy baby. We feel so blessed to have Mayzie girl in our lives.

Mayzie was blessed on March 20th by her dad. Dan did such a great job on her sweet blessing. She is going to be one special girl.

Terrible Two's!

Bryn Lee sure knows how to test me! Its kind of hard to put this cute little face in time out, but sometimes you've got to do it.
But then she pulls out this adorable smile- who wouldn't give in to that?!
