We've been busy...

watching this girl grow up!!!

Bryn couldn't decide which pajamas to wear that night. She cried until I put them both on her, and was sweating all night...

We have had the best summer. I don't think we have ever been this busy! One of these days things will actually slow down enough for me to blog about it... I've also been a little preoccupied with trying to have enough energy to just make it through the day. It's tough to run after a toddler and be PREGNANT. How do people manage having more than one kid? Guess I'll find out soon here. (Well not till January 19th) Stay tuned- we should find out if its a boy or a girl sometime this week.

Trip to Albion

I had such a great birthday this year. We even got to celebrate with friends and my Uncle Russ' family in Albion Idaho!
My friend Melissa was so awesome to invite us for this fun weekend getaway! It is the PERFECT place for a big group to party. We stayed in an old dorm house that had been remodeled. It was so cute! Here we are getting ready to hit the birthday pinata.

Of course we had a dance off! Rumor has it that Uncle Russ and I won with our river dancing routine.

Horse races! I was such a proud wife- Dan won the entire tournament with the horse, Hoof R. Ted.

Albion is about 30 minute away from the City of Rocks.

We spend a whole lot of time chowing down on yummy food.

Dan spoiled me on my birthday. I'm one lucky girl.

Mom's in town!!!

We were so lucky to have my mom and visit! Bryn loved seeing her, but I'm pretty sure I was the one that was in heaven. I'm sure it wasn't the most relaxing weekend for her- I put her to work helping me cook for my Bunco party and she gave me a much needed break from all of my mom duties. Love you Mom!
We tried to have a little fun as well :) We had a fire with smores.

We also went downtown for lunch, paddle boat rides, and fun at the park.

Bunco Night!

I just love Bunco night! It is such a good break for all of us to get together without kids and party!

My mom was one of our subs and helped me prepare for the night. We ate chicken lettuce wraps, homemade eggrolls, and fruit tarts. Served with flavored lemonade.

I truly have some of the best friends in the world. They are all crazy and fun- just like I like it!

I didn't think it would be fair to put all these awesome pictures of the girls without adding the lovely one of myself.

Diaper Hat

Couples Shower/Date Night

We had such a fun couples date night! We wanted to celebrate the Weight's having their 3rd baby and thought this would be the best way to do it! We rented out my Aunt's Kitchen design shop and hired a chef to come and teach us a cooking class. We ate our yummy meal and then opened presents and played shower games. It was so fun to actually do something different for a date night. Thanks to all who helped make the night so awesome.
It was so funny to play games with the guys. None of them had ever played shower games so we totally enjoyed torturing the boys. Although Cody actually seemed to be enjoying the candy bar diaper game...

So funny right? Those were all on demand. Ahhh, love this girl! Please excuse how ragamuffinish she looks. It was obviously a long day for us all. I just hope she didn't learn those looks from me. I better start smiling a lot more around here :)
