How mean are we?

We just got a new video camera, so hopefully the posts will be way more exciting now. Like this one of us surprising Bryn with a new food. Limes!

Guess who turned 30!!!

Happy Birthday Dan!

We had a Hawaiian Luau for Dan's big day. We had a great dinner, then the boys went golfing -with his new birthday clubs, (while the girls kept eating) and then we had this awesome cake and fruit pizza!

Dan is such an amazing Dad. BrynLee just lights up when he comes in the room. Speaking of Bryn, if you thought her eyes were big before- check out how enthralled she is by the candles. We might have a pyro on our hands.

We are so lucky to have him in our lives. Hope you had a great day Dan! You old fart :)

I just noticed that peice hair on my neck makes me look like I have the biggest double chin. Ha Ha-sweet. And who loves all of the baby hairs growing back on my hairline? I'm just a mess. Wait this post is about Dan... Sorry

BrynLee has a few announcements...

She turned 8 months!

She loves ATV rides. (Dan just got one for his birthday/hunting season)

She learned how to wave. It's too cute- she keeps her arm up like that until you wave back to her. I think she gets offended when people in the store don't wave back. So I spend half of my day saying hi and waving back to her so she isn't left hangin.

We grew Zucchini as big as her.

By the way... I need to confess that are garden isn't as magnificent as I led on or assumed it would be. It is WAY overgrown and out of control. You see, for every item planted, we planted the ENTIRE packet of seeds. We are going to get trapped in our home soon from all of the overgrowth.

She finally has hair! Well, more than she did... Here is her cool Mohawk style.

Here she is crawling (7 months). And yes, my house is now a disaster because of it.

Last but not least- Teeth! Which has pretty much wrapped up the whole breastfeeding thing.

Love you Bryn! Just stop growing up so quick, K?

Learning to be self reliant

Here is our first attempt at starting a garden! We did everything from seed, and about 50% of the garden actually grew. Not to bad for first timers if I do say so myself. For some reason it has been such a fun experience . We would go out each morning and all excited about every single new leaf. I know, get a life right...
The most successful plants were the tomatoes, watermelons, zucchini, peas, bean, cucumber, peppers, lettuce, cabbage, raspberries, blackberries, and cantaloupe. Sadly- the broccoli, cauliflower, onions, and radishes decided not to join us this year.

Yummy! First batch of peas.

BrynLee's already hooked on veggies.

Dan and Bryn are working on their act for their new career. Keep your eye out for them in the next traveling circus.

1st half birthday! (Little late)

Our sweet baby girl turned 6 months old!

Bryn is such a sweetheart and blessing in our lives. At her six month check up she was 15lb 8 oz and 26 inches. She is totally sitting up on her own, loves trying new foods, is speaking her own language, and somehow already figured out how to get whatever she wants :)

Elder Payne

It happened... we dropped my cute brother Kimball off at the curb at the MTC. He did such an awesome job on his farewell talk, totally holding his own after the beautiful musical number by David Archuleta. I am so proud of the boy. He is going to change the world. We will miss him so much. You see, with the swine flu outbreak and all, we had to just drive up and unload his luggage and say goodbye at the curb. This is the last picture I took of him :(

Midnight waffles!

Dan and Kim showing off their hops after the farewell. Isn't that the most beautiful view!?! I never really appreciated it that much until I moved. We are gonna miss Kimball so much, but we're so excited for him and all of the experiences ahead of him.

Park City family vaca

We really want to thank my parents for such a fun getaway! It was so nice spending time with everyone before Kimball took off.
We just finished up doing the Alpine slide and coaster. You have to go do the coaster, it was so fun!

Kimball doing some freestyle walking...

He's a natural; only 2 short years and he'll be back ladies!

Dan always finding time to shoot things...

Mom and Taylor sportin their new shoes. We did a shopping exchange when we went to the outlets. Some of us ended up better off than others. Sorry mom!

Brea and Bryn and already the greatest bath time buddies...

Brea even washed Bryn's tush for her. Thanks Brea :)

Playing a mean game of spoons...

How cute is she!?!

Just hangin out watching a movie...

Cutest Grandparents ever!

Brynlee wanted to do some Aerial skiing before we left. We had such a great time and made so many good memories. I love you family!
